Hi! I’m Dave Tucker, and welcome to Beyond Fitness. Having reached nearly 20 stone and suffering from constant fatigue and high blood pressure (all whilst trying to raise and support a young family), I couldn’t shake the feeling that there was something better out there for me. I decided it was time to turn my life around. I’m not going to lie: it wasn’t easy, and it certainly wasn’t pretty. But the results were nothing short of fantastic – and I was hooked!
I became a personal trainer to help people who feel like I did when I started my fitness journey – self conscious, lacking in confidence and unsure of how to get results. While there’s a lot of information out there about weight loss, exercise and healthy eating, it can be difficult to understand what you need to do for the best. I’m here for you in a way that the impersonal gyms and fad-driven fitness culture can never be; here to help you unlock your full potential, and to change your life for the better.
My mission is to help others to become the best version of themselves, and to understand that the journey is both mental and physical. Through my expertise, experience, and training – not to mention the ability to keep you accountable, motivated, enthusiastic and on track – I show you how to change your body with sustainable results, and develop healthy habits that will truly last a lifetime. From 1-2-1 personal training to online coaching, running training, and high-octane HIIT bootcamp-style sessions in Plymouth, I’m here to help you kickstart your fitness journey for good and take that first step towards a whole new you.
